Pink Pepper New Crop 2021

Once again its approaching the pink pepper new crop, tree is flowering in due time, weather condition has been favourable to a possible good crop, however, pink pepper as any agriculture product.
Is subject to weather condition for a good production, principally during the harvesting period, and we have to wait until we have the product in our factory to confirm if it was really a good crop, even so, if happens some rain the product can reach the factory with more or less pink colour.
This year, pink pepper from intensive plantation, has increased significantly, however AGROROSA is still buying the majority of our pink pepper from wild collection, meaning mixed pink pepper varieties from the wild forest, resulting in better flavour and aroma.
For sure we will face some problems with employees to collect the product, and also transportation can be a problem, in view that state government are implementing LOCK DOWN, from time to time, in order to decrease the COVID 19 to spread out among the employees, this will be a challenger on how much pepper we will be able to harvest with the reduced labour/employees/transports.
Producing costs has double this year due to COVID 19, implying that the exporters will have a product far more expensive than last year, they have to be very carefully on what price they will sell their production, taking in consideration also that the dollar rate all over sudden can collapse down.
